  • ​Online Membership Directory & Community- Provides a resource of colleagues throughout the state.
  • Listserv & Forum Access- SCSHA maintains contact with its members through a listserv. Members can discuss professional issues and concerns in an open forum. 
  • Annual Convention - Offers a state Convention and Fall Workshop with local and national speakers, job recruitment/interview opportunities, exhibit displays and opportunities to meet with colleagues.

4. Strong Advocacy

  • SCSHA-Supported Legislative Representation- Represents our profession at both the state and federal levels.
  • SCSHA liaison with ASHA, South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech Pathology and Audiology, and the SC Board of Education- Maintains active contact with ASHA, the SC Board of Examiners and the SC Department of Education on issues of interest, trends and legislation, continuing education opportunities, CCC examination information, licensure, procedures in other states, etc.
